Medusa 2007:
The Medusa Mythology Exam Committee is proud to present the winners in its 2007 Achievement Awards Program. Achievement Awards winners were selected based on an overall score in the competition, which included a teacher recommendation, Medusa test score and points awarded for composistions of not more than 250 words. This year's topic was: "In honor of Medusa. create a new mythological story that hinges on a character's physical appearance."

Medusa 2006:
The Medusa Mythology Exam Committee is proud to present the winners in its 2006 Achievement Awards Program. Achievement Awards winners were selected based on an overall score in the competition, which included a teacher recommendation, Medusa test score and points awarded an essay of not more than 250 words that addressed the topic, “ Imagine that Eurystheus had demanded a thirteenth labor and tell that story .” In the case of a tie in total points, the entry with the higher-scoring essay was ranked higher.

The 2004 Medusa Mythology Examination was a great success. What follows are some excerpts from the 2004 Results packet.
Approximately 7,500 from 340 schools across the United States, Canada, Italy, Australia, and Slovenia registered for the April exam.
The exam averages for 2004 are as follows:
Overall Average (students in all levels) 26/50 questions
Lower Level Average (students in Intro, I & II) 24/50 questions
Upper Level Average (students in III-VI, AP) 28/50 questions
There were six perfect papers.

The 2003 Medusa Mythology Examination was a great success. What follows are some excerpts from the 2003 Results packet. Approximately six thousand students from three hundred schools across the United States, Canada, Italy, and Australia registered for the April exam.

The Medusa Mythology Exam purchases medals exclusively from Veneto Sport Awards in Jackson, New Jersey. Veneto carries a nice selection of medals with classical images, imported directly from Italy. The 1999 Medusa Mythology Examination was a great success. What follows are some excerpts from the 1999 Results packet: The Medusa Mythology Examination Committee is "very pleased with the amount of participation and with the outcome of the examination. Approximately fourteen hundred students at seventy schools across the nation took the examination in April. This is a 350% jump in student participation from last year - wow! We are also excited to announce that student achievement on the Exam has increased in all categories over last year. Fifty percent of all participants received some sort of award (certificate or medal) this year."
