Attention Teachers and Professors of the Classics!
Join the Medusa Exam team as a Review Panelist!
The Medusa Mythology Exam is a comprehensive exam covering Greco-Roman mythology. It is administered annually to students in grades 9-12. The Exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
Review Panelists have the unique opportunity to directly influence the development of the Medusa Exam. As a Reviewer, you get the chance to see and critique each question on the preliminary copy of the Medusa.
This review process is one of the most important aspects of the Exam, as it ensures that the Medusa is accurate and complete in every sense: mythologically, grammatically, logistically, and aesthetically. Your input is invaluable in order for us to produce the best possible exam, which accomplishes our goals of encouraging and fostering the study of mythology, as well as allowing students to excel and be recognized for their efforts.
At the conclusion of the Review Process, the Medusa Mythology Exam Committee will analyze each individual comment on every review, and, using your comments as our guide, we will decide how to improve the questions and which questions to eliminate.
***The deadline for offers to review is August 31 of each year.***
There are a limited number of spots available on the panel. Reviews will not be due back to the Medusa Exam Committee until 15 December. We credit all of our Review Panelists in the test package.
